The Story Behind the Name and the Logo.
Everything about LOKARR starts with intention. Our name is taken from the Viking age ‘lokarr’, an Old Norse term for a wood plane, the craftsman’s tool used to refine, shape and improve timber. It’s a quiet nod to the Baltic roots of our production and a statement of what we believe in: precision, craftsmanship, and the relentless pursuit of better.
The logo carries that same thinking. Look closely and you’ll recognise it immediately. it’s the end of a bundle of batten. Those clean, repeating squares you see stacked together are exactly what you’d find looking straight down a freshly packed Lokarr.
